What This Roulette Actually Rolls
The page ships with 50 built-in Counter-Strike 2 strats: 22 that apply on either side, 14 written specifically for Ts, and 14 for CTs. Every entry carries four properties baked into the page source: a side (T, CT, or both), a Competitive or Meme tier, and a minimum and maximum team size from 1 to 5. Roll Strat filters the combined pool, built-ins plus anything you added, to entries fitting all three pill selections, then draws one with a plain unweighted random pick. Dance Party and Default Push Mid have identical odds once both pass your filters.
The counter below the result card reports how many entries currently fit your selections, refreshing whenever you tap a different pill, so an over-narrow combination is visible before you roll.
This is an unofficial fan project with no connection to Valve Corporation; Counter-Strike 2 belongs to Valve, and gun or site names appear here as plain text purely to describe the challenges.
Two Example Rolls
Stock pool: set the pills to T Side, 3 players, Meme, then tap S. One result you can land on is Eco Rush with the description "Zero utility, full pistol rush at a site. Go hard and trade." and three tags reading Meme, T Side, and 3-5p.
Custom entry: open Add Your Own Strats and submit the title Vertigo Ladder Race, description "Whole team climbs to A via ladders only, last one up drops their gun," CT Side, Meme, min 2, max 5. It appears in your saved list as CT Side · Meme · 2-5p, and winning rolls display it with an extra purple Custom tag.
Limitations and Edge Cases
Draws are independent, with no repeat protection, so the same strat can land twice running, and tight filters make that noticeably more common. A team size of 1 cuts deep: anything needing teammates (Fast A wants 3, AWP Ban wants 2) drops out, leaving solo challenges like Walk Only or No Reloads. Custom strats persist through a local storage key in the browser where you created them; clearing site data, switching profiles, or moving machines leaves them behind, and there is no export button. The S and Space hotkeys go quiet while your cursor sits in a text field, so typing a title containing the letter s will not fire surprise rolls. An impossible combination yields a prompt in the result card, not an error.
Roll results, filter choices, and saved entries are produced and kept entirely by the script inside this one HTML document; nothing you do here generates a network request carrying your data.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many strats are built in?
Fifty. The split is 22 dual-side entries, 14 T-only, and 14 CT-only, and your own additions stack on top of that.
Why did the same strat come up back to back?
Each press is a fresh draw from the filtered pool with no memory of the last result. Filter down to a handful of entries and repeats get likely fast.
Will my added strats show up on my other PC?
No. They live in the local storage of the exact browser you typed them into, so re-enter them on each machine where you want them.
The S key stopped rolling. What happened?
You probably still have focus inside the custom strat form. Click anywhere outside the inputs and the hotkeys come back.
