    What the roulette draws from

Under the hood this page ships 58 hand-written Valorant strats: 28 that apply on either side of the round, 15 attacker calls like Fast A, Mid Control First, and Spike Hot Potato, and 15 defender setups like Stack B, AWP Nest, and Hide And Seek. Every entry carries a side tag (Attack, Defense, or Both), a style tier (Competitive or Meme), and a player range from 1 to 5. Hitting Roll Strat filters that list against your three pill rows, then draws one survivor with equal probability. The counter under the result card reports how many strats passed the filter, so the pool size is visible before each spin.

Side filtering never discards the shared entries: lock in Defense and anything tagged Both, such as Operator Ban or No Comms, stays rollable. Team size is a hard gate, so a duo can never land Split Execute or Retake Simulator, which both demand four players.

    Two example rolls

Set Side to Defense, Team Size to 2, and Style to Competitive. The meta line shows "16 strats match your filters": fourteen shared entries such as Sheriff Squad and No Reloads, plus the only two defender calls rated for duos, Aggressive Picks and Sentinel Save. One possible result card reads "Sentinel Save: Sentinel utility only. No smokes, no flashes, just traps and walls" with the tags Competitive, Defense, and 2-5p.

Now try Team Size 1 with Style on Meme and Side on Both. Exactly five entries qualify (Shorty Shuffle, Knife Only, Hipfire Only, Crouch Only, and Silent Night) because every other meme strat in the list wants at least a second player.

    Adding your own strats

The Add Your Own Strats panel stores entries under the key bqt-valorant-custom-strats-v1 in your browser's localStorage, so they survive reloads and join every future roll with a purple Custom tag. Titles cap out at 40 characters and descriptions at 240, and the form refuses a minimum player count that exceeds the maximum. Rolling, filtering, and saving are all plain JavaScript executing inside this page, which means your squad's strat list stays on your own machine rather than traveling to any server.

    Limitations worth knowing

There is no repeat protection: each draw is independent, so back-to-back identical results are possible and a quick reroll is the fix. Custom entries live only in the browser profile where you created them, and clearing site data erases the list. A couple of built-in strats, Same Agent in particular, assume a custom lobby or deathmatch, since standard queues block duplicate agent picks. Finally, an empty pool can only come from over-narrow custom tags; the built-in list covers every side, size, and style combination with at least four options.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does this also pick which agent I should play?

No, it only hands out round constraints. For agent rolls, pair it with our Valorant Random Agent Picker.

Why does the Space bar roll instead of scrolling?

The page intercepts S and Space anywhere outside the custom-strat form, so a tap fires a roll. Inside a text field both keys type normally.

Are the Attack and Defense pools the same depth?

Yes. Each side gets 15 exclusive entries on top of the 28 shared ones, so neither side rolls from a thinner list.

Is this an official Riot Games tool?

It is not. BoltQuickTools built it as an unofficial fan project; Valorant and its agent names belong to Riot Games and appear here as plain text for gameplay reference.
