What is the Valorant Random Agent Picker?
The Valorant Random Agent Picker is a free browser-based randomizer for Valorant. Pick a random agent from the full roster, or narrow it down to a specific role (Duelist, Initiator, Controller, or Sentinel). A built-in fair-pick algorithm steers the rolls so you see every agent at least once before any name repeats, perfect for challenge runs, swiftplay sessions, or anyone stuck playing the same three agents.
This is a fan-made utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games. Valorant is a trademark of Riot Games. Agent names are referenced by text only for informational gameplay use.
How to Use the Picker
- Choose a role pill at the top: All Roles, Duelist, Initiator, Controller, or Sentinel.
- Click Roll Agent, or press Space or R on your keyboard.
- Watch the slot reel spin and lock on an agent. The accent color shows the role.
- Click Undo (or press U) to revert the last roll and reclaim it in the fair-pick pool.
- Click Reset session (or press C) to clear all counters and start a fresh pool.
- Expand Session pick counts to see how many times each agent has been rolled.
Key Features
- Fair-pick algorithm. Picks are biased toward the agents with the lowest session count. Every agent is guaranteed to appear before any repeats. No more rolling Jett four times in a row.
- Role filter. Narrow the pool by role when your team comp needs a specific slot.
- Full 2026 roster. All current Duelists, Initiators, Controllers, and Sentinels, including Waylay, Tejo, Clove, Vyse, and Veto.
- Keyboard shortcuts. Press Space, R, U, or C. Fast enough to fire off during agent select.
- Session counters persist. Counters are stored in your browser and survive a reload.
- Undo safely. Misclicks happen. Undo reverts the last pick and decrements its counter.
- 100% client-side. No account, no tracking, no server. A single HTML file.
Why Use a Random Agent Picker?
Valorant has a steep learning curve for every agent. Mains build entire identity around one or two picks, and agent select becomes a quiet negotiation between everyone wanting to lock in their comfort pick. A randomizer flips that dynamic. It forces you to learn utility you would normally skip, and it often produces surprisingly good comps that nobody would have picked manually.
For duo or five-stack queues, we suggest one person rolls first to call their role, then the next person rolls within the remaining role pool. For swiftplay or unrated, a full-team randomizer run produces a different feel every match and gives less-played agents the reps they need to climb into your main pool.
What is Fair-Pick?
A naive random picker calls Math.random and returns whatever comes out. That works fine over thousands of rolls, but in a short session it can feel rigged. Streaks of three or four identical picks are more common than people expect. Fair-pick flips that: for every roll, we find the lowest pick count in the eligible pool, then pick uniformly among the agents tied at that minimum. The picker cycles through every agent before any name repeats, then resets for another full cycle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tool affiliated with Riot Games?
No. This is an independent fan-made utility. Valorant is a trademark of Riot Games. We reference agents by name for gameplay use only.
Does the tool send my picks anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Pick counters are saved to local storage on your own device. We do not collect roll data.
Will my counters reset when I close the tab?
No. Counters live in browser local storage, so they survive reloads and restarts. Click Reset session when you want to start fresh.
What if a new agent is added to Valorant?
We track Riot's agent releases and add new agents as they ship. If you spot a missing agent, contact us and we will push an update.
Can I use this during agent select?
Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, loads in well under a second, and accepts keyboard shortcuts so you can roll without alt-tabbing.
Is role filtering fair across a five-stack?
Each roll respects your current role filter independently. If your team assigns you Controller, switch the pill to Controller and roll. The fair-pick pool is still tracked across the whole roster, so the Controllers you already rolled count toward your session history.
