What is the R6 Random Operator Picker?

The R6 Random Operator Picker is a free browser-based randomizer for Rainbow Six Siege. Pick an Attacker for your round, pick a Defender, or run the picker through a full ten-round ranked match. Every roll is cryptographically random, and a built-in fair-pick algorithm steers the rolls so you see every operator at least once before any name repeats.

This is a fan-made utility and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ubisoft Entertainment. Rainbow Six and Rainbow Six Siege are trademarks of Ubisoft Entertainment. Operator names are referenced by text only for informational gameplay use.

How to Use the Picker

  1. Click the Attack button to roll a random Attacker, or press the A key on your keyboard.
  2. Click the Defense button to roll a random Defender, or press D on your keyboard.
  3. Watch the slot reel spin and lock on an operator. The accent color shows which side you rolled.
  4. Click Undo (or press U) if you want to revert the last pick and reclaim that roll in the fair-pick pool.
  5. Click Reset session (or press R) to clear all counters and start a fresh pool.
  6. Expand Session pick counts to see how many times each operator has been rolled in your current session.

Key Features

Loadout Randomizer

Every operator in Siege has a handful of primary weapons, secondary weapons, and gadgets to choose from. The loadout randomizer rolls one of each for the operator you picked. If you want to practice weapons you never touch, or force yourself out of autopilot picks, this is the fastest way to do it.

Loadout data reflects our best snapshot of the current Year 11 (Siege X) patch. Ubisoft rebalances weapons and gadgets regularly, so if you spot anything off, contact us and we will push an update. Operator unique abilities (Thermite charge, Valkyrie cameras, Smoke canisters) are not randomized, only the weapon and gadget picks.

Pair With Strat Roulette

Looking for a random round-long challenge? The R6 Strat Roulette is a separate tool on the same site. It lets you roll attack or defense strats by team size and style, and add your own custom strats to the pool. Run the operator picker first, then roll a strat for the round, then play it out.

What is Fair-Pick?

A naive random picker calls Math.random and returns whatever comes out. That works fine over thousands of rolls, but in a short session it can feel rigged. Streaks of three or four identical picks are more common than people expect, and you end up playing the same operator all night.

Fair-pick flips that. For every roll, we find the lowest pick count in the pool. Only operators tied at that minimum are eligible for the next roll. We then pick uniformly among those candidates. In practice that means the picker cycles through every operator before any name repeats, and then resets for another full cycle. It keeps the feel of random while guaranteeing spread, and it is the same algorithm used by the original desktop version of this tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this tool affiliated with Ubisoft?

No. This is an independent fan-made utility. Rainbow Six and Rainbow Six Siege are trademarks of Ubisoft Entertainment. We reference operators by name for gameplay use only.

Does the tool send my picks anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your pick counters are saved to local storage on your own device. We do not collect roll data, usernames, or any personal information through this tool.

Will my counters reset when I close the tab?

No. The counters live in your browser local storage, so they survive reloads and browser restarts. Click Reset session when you want to start a fresh pool.

Does Undo work after multiple rolls?

Undo reverts the most recent roll only. Rolling again clears the previous undo target. If you need to clear more than one roll, use Reset session instead.

Can I use this during a ranked match?

Yes. The tool runs in any modern browser, loads in well under a second, and accepts keyboard shortcuts so you can press A or D between rounds without alt-tabbing away from the game.

What if a new operator gets added to Siege?

We track Ubisoft's seasonal releases and add new Attackers or Defenders as they ship. If you spot a missing operator, contact us and we will push an update.

Is the loadout data always up to date?

We snapshot the loadout pool at a point in time (currently Year 11, Siege X). Ubisoft rebalances weapons and gadgets each season, so some options may drift before we refresh the list. The verified date is shown under the loadout panel. Report any errors through the contact page.

Where is the Strat Roulette feature?

Strat roulette is now a separate tool. Visit R6 Strat Roulette to roll attack or defense strats, pick team size and style, and add your own custom strats to the pool.
